Jessica is the Chief Operating Officer at Touch Dubai, a children's author, and a motivational speaker. The former Australian Paralympian is paving the way for the people of determination.
A resilient child
Jessica didn’t have an easy start in life.
The Australian was born without her left arm. When she was a toddler, she suffered from a burn injury that required years of treatment. She was also painfully aware of how different she looked. But then she found a sport where her capability rather than her disability made her stand out.
A celebrated Paralympian
Jessica was part of the Australian National Paralympic swimming team for seven years until her body gave up on her during the Olympics. She had been silently suffering from eating disorders. Afterward, Jessica opened up about her struggles and became dedicated to healing and loving herself. She remains an inspirational role model.
A force to be reckoned with
Jessica swam against the stream, showing us that being different is a superpower that enforces positive change. As a children's author, motivational speaker, and successful businesswoman, she is dedicated to promoting the inclusiveness, acceptance and empowerment of the people of determination.
