This powerful duo quit their jobs at the height of Covid to pursue their passion for sustainability. After months of research, Waste Lab was born: a female-led, nature-based composting start-up that focuses on using food scraps to enrich soil and reduce methane emissions. But their mission faced a lot of external resistance and obstacles.
Despite the many naysayers and challenges, they have been able to form strategic partnerships, expand their team, and make a real impact.
