Samsung Wallet

Samsung Wallet is a proprietary Mobile Wallet of Samsung Electronics, which is a simple, secure and easy-to-use mobile payment service allowing you to make a payment using compatible Samsung phones across merchants globally who accept card payments.

Samsung Wallet enables the use of both Credit and Debit cards by leveraging on a new proprietary technology called 'Magnetic Secure Transmission' (MST) and 'Near Field Communication' (NFC) to make mobile payments more accessible to both merchants and consumers.

Samsung Wallet can be experienced on the following Samsung devices only:
S Series: S22, S22+, S22 Ultra, S21 5G, S21+ 5G, S21 Ultra 5G, S21 Fan Edition 5G, S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, S20 Fan Edition 5G, S10, S10+, S10e, S10 5G, S9, S9+, S8, S8+

No, there is no additional charge for using Samsung Wallet. Mashreq and Samsung offer this convenience free of charge.

Samsung Wallet is currently not available in the 'Play Store', this will be available only after Samsung's official launch. At present Mashreq brings early access to Samsung Wallet for you, visit www.mashreq.com/samsungpay and register your details to receive the link directly from Samsung to launch 'Samsung Wallet' app in your phone.

1. Sign up to Samsung Wallet with your Samsung account.
2. Set up your Samsung Wallet PIN or fingerprint - this will be used for all your Samsung Wallet transactions.
3. If you choose to use your fingerprint and have not already registered a fingerprint on your device, you will be asked to register your fingerprint.
4. Samsung Wallet will ask you to verify your fingerprint. You will then be asked to create a Samsung Wallet PIN.
Your Samsung Wallet is now set up and you can add your Mashreq Credit &/or Debit Cards.

Your device should be connected to the internet and it is better to have a SIM card installed. 
Without connecting to the internet, the card registration will not be successful.

1. Select 'Add Card' in your Samsung Wallet app.
2. Place your Card on a flat surface. Your device will take a photo of your card in the frame on screen to read the Card number. Alternatively, you can enter in your Card number manually.
3. Follow the instructions on screen to enter in your details.
4. Read and accept Mashreq's Terms & Conditions.
5.Select the SMS to verify your identity. Mashreq will send you an Online Activation Code (OAC) via SMS that you will need to enter to continue.
6. You will be asked to use your finger to enter your signature.
7. Your registration is now complete and your card is ready to use with Samsung Wallet.

It takes just 3 simple steps:
1. Launch Samsung Wallet by either swiping-up from the home button or opening the Samsung Wallet app from the home screen. Select the card you want to pay with by swiping left or right.
2. Authenticate with your finger print or PIN.
3. Hover your phone gently over the terminal or near the magnetic swipe area to pay

If your phone is lost or stolen, Samsung’s ‘Find My Mobile’ feature enables you to locate, lock and even wipe your device remotely. Additionally, contact Mashreq Customer Care to delete your cards from Samsung Wallet. Once the Cards are deleted from Samsung Wallet app, your phone can no longer be used to make transactions until cards are registered to Samsung Wallet again. In the meantime, please use the physical Card to make transactions.

Please report a lost or stolen Card to Mashreq Customer Care immediately. The Customer Care Representative will help you by blocking your lost card. Once this is processed, transactions will be declined on Samsung Wallet until the replacement Card is registered to Samsung Wallet.
