Amr El Bahey is a banking veteran with over twenty years of experience in global and leading regional banks spanning across Cairo, London, and Dubai. He has held senior positions in Egypt and the UAE, and has been responsible for the planning and delivery of multiple strategic and transformative business initiatives and programmes across his career. El Bahey is currently the CEO of Mashreq Egypt, a position he has held since May 2018. Prior to joining Mashreq Egypt, Amr served as the Regional Head of Client Network Banking, Business Development, & Propositions – Middle East North Africa and Turkey at HSBC Middle East, Head of Large Corporate Banking for HSBC Egypt, and Head of Public Sector and Financial Institutions for Citi Egypt. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Maastricht School of Management after having completed his Bachelor of Economics from Concordia University in Montreal.
