To join Mashreq Gold, you must fulfil any one of these criteria at Mashreq:

• Monthly Salary: Transfer a monthly salary of at least AED 80,000 into your account.
• Relationship Balance: Maintain an average balance of AED 500,000 (or equivalent in other currencies) in any of your accounts, term deposits, investments or insurance.
• Insurance: Take an insurance plan with an Annual Premium of AED 500,000 (or equivalent in other currencies) or more,
• Mortgage: Take a mortgage of AED 5,000,000 or more.

You will continue being a Mashreq Gold client as long as you continue to fulfil any one of the three criteria listed above.

There are no fees associated with opening a Mashreq Gold Account. However, a quarterly fee of AED 1,000 (plus VAT) will be charged if the Mashreq Gold criteria are not met for a consecutive period of 3 months. Please click here for a full list of banking fees and charges.

Non-residents may open a Mashreq Gold Savings Account, on provision of valid identity documents and bank statement/s from their country of residence.
