Mashreq Whistleblowing Policy and Program
As part of Mashreq’s comprehensive approach to upholding integrity, the Whistleblowing Policy and Program aims to:

Provide an alternative, secure channel for raising concerns
Mashreq encourages employees and other stakeholders to raise concerns through our standard reporting or escalation channels. However, the Whistleblowing Program a secure and confidential option for those who may not feel comfortable using regular methods. This program reassures individuals that they can voice genuine concerns without fear of retaliation or repercussions. We're committed to fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and trust.
Who can raise a concern?
A Whistleblower can be anyone with a direct or indirect relationship with Mashreq, including but not limited to:
Directors
Employees (including subsidiaries)
Ex-employees
Suppliers
Customers
Contractors
Consultants
Interns/Trainees
Auditors
Whistleblowers are encouraged to provide their identity to facilitate thorough investigations and follow-up. While anonymous complaints are accepted, withholding personal details may limit Mashreq’s ability to investigate effectively, seek clarifications, provide feedback, or offer protection to the Whistleblower.
Confidentiality and Protection
Mashreq treats all disclosures with the utmost confidentiality and care. The identity of the Whistleblower will remain confidential unless:
Disclosure is necessary for a fair investigation
Disclosure is required by law or regulatory authorities
All cases will be reviewed by independent subject matter experts. Investigations will vary in duration based on the specifics of each case. Feedback will be provided to the Whistleblower wherever possible and practical.
Data Privacy
By raising a Whistleblowing report, individuals consent to their data being processed for the purpose of investigation. Any personal information provided will be handled in accordance with Mashreq’s Data Privacy Policy and the Whistleblower Policy.
